Burrard Dry Dock
Sun Sui Wah Restaurant
August 8, 2008
We almost did not cover Andrew and Bonnie's wedding as we were already booked for August 9. Even knowing that, AplusB still met with us to discuss the possibility of us doing their engagement session and a bridal session before the actual wedding. After our August 9 wedding was cancelled, we told them of our recent availability for that weekend and they readily booked for their 08.08.08 wedding!
You've seen the
engagement photos and the
bridal portraits. Now it's time to share with you the wedding images.
I love this portrait of Bonnie's grandparents. Very vintage!

The tea cups for the tea ceremony.
This time, it's Andrew's grandparents.
The special neckties for the groomsmen.
What would we be without our dramatic lights?
The bride's shoes that she wore during the tea ceremony.
Those earrings were tricky!
The ceremony was at the
Burrard Dry Dock. Bonnie and her bridesmaid were running towards the dock leaving me behind snapping away.
Waiting for the ceremony to start.
Bonnie is allergic to certain metal elements so the natural choice for the wedding rings are these wooden rings made of ancient Kauri wood from New Zealand.
Sweets for the guests!
The long, long walk towards a waiting Andrew.
The ceremony
The dragon dance entertaining our couple and their guests.
AplusB had this antique typewriter for guests to write their well wishes!
More and more portraits!
The toast...
Naughty shenanigans during the reception. Yes, the egg was raw!
More drama...
Andrew and Bonnie, thank you for making us a part of your day. Hope you had a good rest during your honeymoon!
