As we start to get into the 2010 wedding season, we'd like to thank the blogosphere for recognizing some of our work in 2009. We're humbled at how our work has gained some recognition, not just in Canada but overseas as well.
In this blog post, we start with a couple of our work featured on Rock 'n Roll Bride. Kat Williams, is based in London, UK, and there's no better source of fashion-forward inspiration for out-of-the-box wedding to rock your guest's socks off. This blog is a wealth of inspiration for weddings who want to kick ass!
Here are two of our work that Kat Williams featured in 2009:
Ryan and Andrea's engagement session
Robert and Fareedah's Vintage Wedding
Watch out for a couple more blog posts in the next few days for other inspiring blogs to whom we are grateful for taking note of our art that we passionately pour our heart on.

Vancouver Olympics - Day 7, Hour 02:12:22

Robson Square's Light Show includes fantastic lights, bursts of fire and fireworks.

The Cauldron at night time, you can see the Olympic Rings in the background. The rings are lit in gold after Jon Montgomery's 1st place win in the Men's Skeleton.

Vancouver Olympics - Day 5, Hour 19:20:43
The Winter Olympics has arrived in Vancouver. I finally got the chance to go downtown today and experience the festivities. There are so many places to visit and lineups are a familiar sight in most of them. One of the longest lineups around town was at Ziptrek Vancouver.
When I found out about Ziptrek Vancouver, I really wanted to try and zip down 500 feet above Robson Square while people mill about on the streets below but I wasn't really willing to wait 6 hours. So, I just enjoyed taking a couple of shots of how much fun that few seconds offered after waiting 6 hours on the ground.

Day 5, Hour 19:20:43 of the Olympics!

Bell's Ice Cube.

Olympic rings.

And of course, the cauldron. I wish they just used fiber glass to protect it from vandals instead of these ugly barbed wires.

Oh, and I saw this guy being interviewed. Canada's first hometown Gold Medalist, Alex Bilodeau.

I hope to visit more places in the coming days.

Mt. Seymour Engagement: Steve and Jen
I gotta say, Steve and Jen are dream clients. We first met them when we sat at the same table during the reception when we shot Minette and Garry's wedding. A year later, they really sought us out for our style and we just clicked. We were really on the same wavelength when we planned the engagement session that they never really needed any guidance on how they want the session to turn out! Everything that you see here are Steve and Jen's idea. They made it easy for us to just show up and shoot the session. They thought of the location, deep into the Baden Powell trail on Mt. Seymour. They thought of bringing a sofa in the middle of the forest. They LOVE books and was just too excited to be surrounded by the chaos of antiquarian and used books at McLeod Books in Vancouver. And Jen is a bit of a fashionista who could not pass up the opportunity to bring her Hunter Wellies and colored umbrellas when the forecast called for rain.
We just hope that we captured them and the environment exactly as they envisioned it.

Fab Fam Portraits: Yiu Family
Here's another portrait session from last November that's still part of the Make-a-Wish Program with Travel Underwriters. A few choice photos of the Yiu Family. It was a fun session of the 3 siblings plus two dashing husbands!
